I'm Peter Schmidt, founder of Prepare. I personally teach most of our SAT and ACT prep classes. I’m a proud graduate of Saucon Valley High School here in Pennsylvania, Columbia University (BA), Yale University (MM), and the University of Houston (MFA). Before launching Prepare, I performed professionally all over the country.
As it turns out, one of my acting ‘side-hustles’ — teaching SAT prep for a private firm in California — kicked off a new career for me. It turned out that my academic background, intellectual curiosity, and performing experience helped me connect with students and come up with new, intuitive ways to help them learn.
