I'm Peter Schmidt, founder of Prepare. I personally teach all of our SAT and ACT prep classes. I’m a proud graduate of Saucon Valley High School, Columbia University (BA in English), Yale University (MM in Music), and the University of Houston (MFA in Drama). Before launching Prepare, I performed professionally in musicals, plays and operas all over the country.
As it turns out, one of my ‘side-hustles’ — teaching SAT prep for a private firm in California — began a new career for me. I realized that my academic background, intellectual curiosity, and performing experience combined to help me connect with students and help them learn.

We conduct in-person SAT prep classes at Muhlenberg College, located approximately 10 minutes from Bethlehem. This prestigious campus provides professional classroom facilities with comfortable seating, excellent technology infrastructure, and a focused academic atmosphere. Our academic-year SAT classes meet twice weekly for six weeks—typically Sunday mornings in-person plus one weeknight evening online—providing substantial instructional time while accommodating busy student schedules.
